Furry Creek - Furry Creek, British Columbia
Amazing scenery, amazingly bad design. Any time you have a dogleg par 3 because a mountain is in your way, you probably shouldn't be building a golf course there. Also, the greens fees were ridiculously expensive.
Motutara Golf Course - Rotorua, New Zealand
They probably shouldn't have built a golf course here. Cramped, deadly flat, with a couple of holes where you can take out a moving car with a slightly bad swing, the ever present smell of sulfur would best describe the golf course.

The Nile Golf Course - Edmonds, Washington
Starting off with two par fours under 260 yards followed by multiple tee shots next to or across roads, they crammed 18 holes where ever they could and shouldn't. I was told that the 9 hole incarnation of the course was actually pretty good, which makes the current version even sadder.
Torrey Pines (South) - LaJolla, California
Not a bad golf course, but exceedingly long, dull, repetitive, and way overpriced. Oh look, it's another 400+ yard straight par four with a bunker complex at 250 yards from the tee. To be fair, sometimes you're faced with a 550 yard straight par five with a bunker complex at 250 yards from the tee. Mediocre muni golf course design with a world class view charging world class greens fees.
